JMU Hospitality Management Themed Events (January 2013-March 2015)
- Back of the House Manager: Planned and executed a Das Oktoberfest! themed dinner for a senior
capstone project.

Planning included: creating a menu for a reception and a four-course dinner, researching
vendors, creating an ingredient file and cost cards for each compiled recipe, calculating the
estimated total cost of food while working under a budget.
Execution included: Purchasing food from different vendors and managing a staff of 15 to prepare
and plate the food all day for 128 guests on March 1st, 2015
- Back of the House Supervisor: Assisted in the overseeing and execution of the themed dinner, The
Great Outdoors.
- Staff Member at Themed Events: Worked FOH and BOH at eight formal James Madison University
Hospitality Management Senior Themed Events.
Busch Gardens (May 2014-August 2014)
- Business Leadership Intern: Worked as a Culinary Operations Facility Supervisor: Food carts Supervisor
in the Germany part of the park. Made sure carts ran smoothly; ensured that they had everything they
needed, took care of any issues (guest-related or team member related), oversaw team members, took
over positions if need be.
