Factors Affecting Students' Quality of Academic Performance:

A Case of Secondary School Level

socio-economic status (SES) has a significant effect on the students'


academic achievement
o higher SES correlated with higher performance and lower SES

help children with school activities
o educated parents can provide a better learning environment
parents' occupation does not have a significant effect on students' academic
achievement
parents' involvement in their child's education increases the rate of academic
success of their child
girl students generally perform better academically than male students
