working on your bell work (that is
written up on the board).

Fold your arms, and keep


your hands and feet to
yourself.

Keep your lips sealed, and


follow the person in front
of you.

Getting Help
1. Re-read directions and
instructions.
2. Find it in your notes or in the
book.
3. Raise your hand quietly.

Bathroom Use
1.

Try and wait until Recess or


Lunch.
2. Raise your hand.
3. Put your ticket in the jar.
4. Write your name on the
clipboard.
5. Take the pass and leave quietly.
6. Come back and get to work!

End of the Day


1. Put all your homework in your
backpack.
2. Clean up all the trash around and
inside your desk.
3. Push your chair in.
4. Line up by the door.

Homework:
1. Make sure your name is on
your paper.
2. Place your paper in the
homework basket.
3. Put your take-home book
back in the crate in your
folder.

Lining up:
1. Stand up quietly.
2. Push in your chair.
3. Take all necessary items.
4. Line up without touching
others or talking.
5. Face the front of the line.
6. Watch where you are going.

Finishing early:
1. Work on any unfinished assignments.
2. Choose from the following:
Do your classroom job.
Read a book.
Write a story.
Illustrate a book.
Play file folder games.
Peer-tutor someone who needs your help.
Create a song or poem about what the class
is studying.
