My name is Rita Cuevas and I am writing this letter of recommendation on behalf of Ms. Tiffany
Thronesberry. I had the immense pleasure of having Tiffany in my English 10 Advanced Placement
Preparation course. For many students, the course proved challenging and, at times, overwhelming. While
many students grumbled, Tiffany approached each new unit with no complaint, completed each task to the
best of her ability, and greeted each educational opportunity with a true desire to learn and grow. She
proved eloquent in her thinking and writing, as well as extraordinarily perceptive in her ability to think
through nuances of language, theme, diction, and other literary elements to describe and discuss literature.
I could always count on Tiffany to contribute to class enriching and deepening our discussions.
In short, Tiffany is an incredibly well-rounded student who embraces lifes challenges (both academic and
personal) and, with grace and integrity, works to succeed. Tiffany will be an asset to any program and it is
with great enthusiasm that I recommend her to you.
