About the Project

HOW?

I plan to run 7 full Marathons in 7 different cities.

The total distance is 1750 kilometers, out of them:
- 1455 kilometers of trainings;
- 295 kilometers of Marathon races.

The SCOPE:

Im raising funds for members from AIESEC

Romania Network, who want to go in an
international internship and live a life-changing
experience around the world.
The funds will be given as scholarship to 10 AIESEC
members.

AIESEC provides internships around the

entire world, and will be responsible to find
the most suitable internship for each member.

The goal of the scholarship is to cover a part of transportation and living expenses.
The scholarship will be received by the members who have great results, but limited
financial resources and cant afford it.

In Romania, AIESEC is present in 14 cities around the country and has a history of 24 years
of activating leadership among young people by providing international volunteering and
professional internships.
Most of the members are students between 18 and 23 years old. They are the next
generation of young leaders and are eager to discover, to help others and to bring a positive
impact in the society, but the lack of money usually stops them.

Why me? Why this project?

This fundraising is very important to me from 2 different perspectives:
1. Im an Alumnus of AIESEC in Romania (I was a volunteer for 4 and a half years). After spending so much
time in this organization and constantly receiving help from other people, I truly believe that its time to give
something back to the future generation and to the organization.
2. Right now Im in an internship in Lucerne, Switzerland which was provided by AIESEC Romania in
collaboration with AIESEC Switzerland. After living abroad and taking advantage of this experience, I totally
understand the impact of the experience on personal and professional level. I want to help other 10 AIESEC
members, and together with my soul organization to provide this kind of experience.
Unfortunately not every student from Romania can cover these costs. So its time to take action!

Financial Goal
The Project

is on-going and lasts for the entire 2015 year.

The goal is:

to raise money for 10 Scholarships
10 scholarships x 500 EUR = 5000,- EUR
and
to support the marathons and travel expenses during the entire year
7 marathons = aprox. 2000,- EUR*

( I personally will support half of the expenses )

* If you need more information about the marathons budget, do not hesitate to ask me.

About me . . .
I was born and raised in Republic of Moldova
Ive just turned 25 years old
Im passionate about self-development
I love to travel around the world and discover other cultures
I lived 1year in Germany, 5 years in Romania and 8 months in Switzerland
Ive been a long-distance runner since 2010 (ran more than 4000 km)
10 Marathons / 3 Half-Marathons / and many small races.
I'm very ambitious and I always follow my dreams.

I decided to make this year a special one,

so I'm getting ready for this project.
