The CAP program has brought BAR some of our very best students ever, and considering the caliber
of student we normally get that's really saying something, said David Wondrich, co-founder of the

Awards. We couldn't be more pleased to be associated with Tales of the Cocktail and the Cocktail
Apprentice program in this.
Founded and run by six of the biggest names in mixologySteve Olson, Dale DeGroff, Andy
Seymour, Doug Frost, David Wondrich and F. Paul Pacultthe BAR Program has become one of the
most revered mixology training programs in the country. This scholarship is open to bartenders who
have served as a Cocktail Apprentice at Tales of the Cocktail in the past five years.
The opportunity to take part in the BAR certification program is truly career changing, not only does
it offer me the chance to further my education but the opportunity to complete one of highest regarded
education programs in the industry, said Nathan ONeill, 2015 BAR Scholarship recipient. Having
worked with the CAP program for a number of years, the educational tools this program will give me
will also help me to develop with those around me. This is a fantastic time within our industry and
taking up this challenge really is a privilege.
Tales of the Cocktail and the CAP program continue to open doors and create opportunities for my
career that I could never imagine, said Angel Teta, 2015 scholarship recipient. The BAR five-day
scholarship is a perfect example of this, and I am extremely proud to be one of the recipients for
2015!"

bartending talent around the world. Tales of the Cocktail also funds a Cocktail Apprentice Tuition
