SIMPLE FUTURE TENSES


Definition:
The activity that will happen in future time
Will or going to:
When we want to use going to it must has prior plan or must
supported by the evidence
Example:
A: Why did you buy that pet food?
B: I bought this pet food because Im going to feed my cat.

EXAMPLE
Why did you buy
that ring?

I bought that
ring because
Im going to
give that ring
to my mother.

Will
When we want to use will it must has willingness
and also spontaneous reaction.
Example:
A: Number 8 is very hard for me.
B: Ask the teacher, he will help you.

EXAMPLE
What am I
suppose to do?
Im so confused.

Ask Claudia, she


will help you.

Will and Going To


We can use will or going to in a prediction. If
you use going to you need to add to be(is, am, are)
Example:
- The weather report on the television says it will
rain today or Based on the weather report on the
television it is going to rain today.

EXAMPLE
The radio says It will rain
today!

The weather report on


television says it is
going to rain today!
