We won!
Our class won the first week of the
March Madness Fitness Challenge!
We enjoyed healthy fruit smoothies
from Dairyland. Keep sending in the
slips each Monday in March!
Reading
This week we worked on the spelling
patterns of all, ai, ay and aw. We
also read a story about caterpillars.
Next week the spelling words are:
road, toad, load, grow, boat, coat,
was
bonus word: frog
Science
We are just beginning our study of
animals in Science. We are learning

about mammals, reptiles, fish, birds
and amphibians. We have already
studied how animal coverings such as
fur or feathers help the animal live.
We will even write reports about our
favorite animals soon.
Warmer Weather
Next week’s weather is looking pretty
good! Please remember that even if
the weather warms up, we still need
boots and snow pants each day to
keep us dry. We will have an
announcement from the office when
winter clothing is no longer needed.
