Senior High Plays
This week Mr. Millard’s public speaking
class entertained us with short plays.
They rewrote classic tales like Are You
My Mother? and If You Give a Mouse
a Cookie, then acted them out for us.
They were great! We always enjoy it
when the “big kids” visit us.
Reading
We are getting good at adding –ed
endings to words and we learned a new
sign for the “aw” sound. Ask your child
to show it to you. Next week we will
learn about compound words and the
sounds the letter y can make. Spelling
words are: sometime, anytime,
something, someone, anyone, school,
their
bonus word: spring
March Madness Fitness Challenge
We won the challenge again this week!
We are aiming for another victory next
week and we hope everyone remembers
to bring in the slips on Tuesday.
(Remember, no school on Monday.)

Foundation Grant
Here at Adams we were awarded a
grant from the 544 Foundation to
purchase several iPods and a Flip Cam.
We use these tools daily during reading
and math and to update our blog.
Today there is a note about the
Foundation. Know that your child has
benefited from their generosity! We
thank them for their support of our
students.
