Reading: We are continuing through Module 4, all Check out our class Instagram and

Math: We will begin Module 6: Foundations of
Multiplication and Division. Website:

Phonics/Spelling: Test on Friday. You will find the
spelling words in a plastic sleeve in your child’s CAMP
binder.

May 22: ½ Day of School
May 23: Last ½ Day of School
Field Trip
Tomorrow is our 2nd grade field trip to Shelby
Farms Park. Several have asked if they can
chaperone. Anyone wanting to come is
welcome. Parents do not have to pay. You will
need to meet us there. We will be there around
9:30. You will need to park in the gravel lot by
the playground. The buses will park there as
well. We will participate in 4 stations:
(Playground, Mammal lesson on picnic blankets,
Nature Hike, and Bison Lesson in the Yurt). I am
not sure the order, but these are the activities.
The weather is looking great for it this time. I
ask that students wear comfortable shoes,
bottoms, and class t-shirts. We will return to
school in plenty of time to have lunch, so
lunches will not be brought with us. If you have
any questions, please send me an email. I know
this will be an exciting trip for all!
