Phonological Awareness - 2015 goals

Hazel - My goal for Hazel is to support her understanding of soundletter-image relationships and to implement strategies that help Hazel
clearly differentiate initial sounds.
Abdul - I will support Abduls phonological awareness by helping him to
recognise and form sounds and to support his understanding the
relationships between sound-image-letter.
Irving - My goal for Irving is to support him in building sound-letter
relationships. He is already very confident in recognising and
contextualising the letters of the alphabet, which is a good base from
which to recognise initial sounds.
Ethan This year my goal for Ethan is to engage him in group-time
activities through incorporating his interests into lessons, and to spend
one-on-one time with Ethan reading and supporting his phonological
awareness in integrated experiences.
