    Dear Calvert High Orchestra Supporter:


    You are receiving this letter because you are a friend or relative of a student participating in
    Calvert High Schools 2015-16 Orchestra Program and we are asking for your support to help make
    this year successful for all our music ensembles.
    We are asking for a tax-free donation to our program. Your donation will be divided
    between the Orchestra Programs general fund and the individual account of the student you are
    supporting. The general fund is used to supplement funds allotted by Calvert County Public Schools
    which help to purchase new instruments, music and equipment. In addition, these funds will be used
    to pay for visiting artists and guest conductors that work with each ensemble, and some travel
    expenses. A students individual fund is used to pay for orchestra-related expenses such as uniform
    maintenance and field trips.
    In addition, you will be recognized for your donation in all of our concert programs for the
    remainder of the school year as well as on our website www.calverthighschoolorchestra.com
    Individuals making donations will be listed as follows:
    $100 or more Benefactor of the Calvert High School Orchestra Program
    $50 to $99 Sponsor of the Calvert High School Orchestra Program
    $20 to $49 Patron of the Calvert High School Orchestra Program
    Up to $19
    Friend of the Calvert High School Orchestra Program
    If you are interested in contributing to the Orchestra Program at Calvert High School, please
    complete the enclosed Donation Form and return the top half in the self-addressed envelope
    provided as soon as possible so your name will be included in the programs for our winter
    performances.. Please retain the bottom portion of the Donation Form for your tax records.
    Also included with this letter is a copy of our performance schedule, and we cordially invite
    you to attend any of our upcoming concerts. The students and I truly appreciate your support of our
    program.
