winning the

drawing for
Explorer of the
Week! We are
so proud of him!

During our shared reading time this week, weve been learning
about PUMPKINS! This is one of my favorite times of the
year!!! I know you will hear me say that LOTS of times, I truly
mean it each time! J
Each day, we read one fiction book and one non-fiction book
about pumpkins. We compared and contrasted the differences
between fiction and non-fiction. Weve learned about the
pumpkins life cycle and I hope your child was able to share
what theyve learned Thursday evening!
For theme we began talking about transportation in
preparation for our trip to the FARM! The kindergarten
teachers are planning for a pretend train ride to the farm! We
learned about all of the different modes of transportation
and how you can transport all of kindergarten together! The
students came up with planes and trains! We then finalized it
to a train!
