Week 2 Journal 2

October 15th, 2015

This week, I felt a little bit nervous since it was the starting of teaching, not a
half lesson but a complete one, since I taught only part of the lesson in my
previous TP. It was hard for me to now the students and communicate with
them freely, since Im not so social. But after the first lesson that Ive taught,
I felt a little bit social with the student at the end of the week, which was a
huge development comparing to the last TP. Also, it was a nerve wrecking,
since my MCT will visit and observe me, and the more I thought about it, the
more I get nervous. But surprisingly, when I started teaching, I totally forgot
that my MCT was sitting at the back of the class, and I taught the lesson
without having any worries and I was shocked about it. Then after finishing
the lesson, I sat with my MCT and she was telling me what Ive done well and
the other way. And I was happy with the comments she gave me. Also, I had
to observe math lessons, and discussed with the math teacher about the
lesson that Ill be teaching for the next week, and she kindly gave me
everything that I need for the lesson that Ill prepare.
