Journal week1

This week was the first week of teaching practice in Fatema Bent Mubarak School, it was
an amazing week. I started TP on 29th of September 2015. I went to school at 7:30 am.
Fatema Bent Mubarak School which is a wonderful School with beautiful buildings. When
I met the principal, Miss Mouse, she welcomed me to the school and said that I could to
hear for any help I needed. She told me the rules that should be followed. She also gave
me some advice about teaching. An important thing she said was you are the second
generation of teachers and you should be more creative because our country needs creative
teachers. After that she took me on a tour of the school and she showed me my mentor. I
offered to assist with school activities. According to my feelings about teaching practice
during this week, I thought this teaching practice will be easier than the last semester, but
I changed my opinion because it was hard. Although we didnt have a lot of tasks related
to the teaching practice booklet, we had a lot of work in this semester covering all the
aspects of teaching, such as , marking dictation with my mentor, observing students in the
class, attending morning assembly and helping my mentor to organize the class before
the class starts.

I prepared small Ids for students so that I could

know them.

I helped the teacher correcting the dictation.
