Day 15 (March 6, 2023)

Today was another week of embracing the reality of teaching. I woke up early this
morning because I was a little bit excited to start a new lesson in my first section. I arrived at
exactly 6:00 in the morning. First, I went to our quarter to prepare the necessary things for my
discussion. And at exactly 8:39, I have to attend my class in Section Narra. Everything is good
since the students look excited. I did my introduction for the new lesson of this week, which is a
social, moral, and economic issue. And as of today, I started to discuss first the social issue. As
I go through my discussion, everyone is participating; everyone is enjoying the discussion and
activity. After my class, I went back to the quarter to have my break time, and after a while, the
school was conducting their earthquake drill, and everyone was participating in the said activity.

On the other hand, in the afternoon, as I arrived at section Apitong, I began my class
by asking them if they are okay, and their response is a little bit sad since there are some
teachers under their subject whose attitude they don’t like, and that puts them under too much
pressure. I gave them some sort of advice and motivation to lessen their stress. And finally, I
started my class in English, and of course, I followed my lesson plan. I also discussed the
same issue, which is a social issue. As I started discussing, everyone was participating and
asking me questions about the things they didn’t understand, and I liked this scenario as a
teacher. After my class, I went back to the quarter and did my rest, and at exactly 3:20, I went
home.

Day 16 (March 07, 2023)

Today is Tuesday, and it's a new day of teaching experience. I felt tired and not well
today. I get to school at 5:37 a.m., and I first go to the school cafeteria, and at precisely 8:39, I
am in section Narra to have my continuation of topic, and as of today they have to perform their
role playing, song composition, and acting. I find this kind of activity really fun and enjoy it; I
was really smiling throughout their performance. They are the best actors and actresses.

Afterwards, I went to our quarters to have a rest. I did some sort of task and did my
lesson plan as usual. I had to study my lesson for my teaching discussion, and in the afternoon,
at exactly 1:51, I went to my afternoon class in section Apitong. While I was preparing my
PowerPoint presentation, suddenly the earthquake occurred. It was very sudden and
unexpected. We do the duck, cover, and hold and then go faster to the evacuation area in the
center of the field at Kapalong National High School. Everyone was there, and the weather is
so hot. Because of shocks, a lot of students fainted; three of my students painted during that
time, so there are lots of rescue teams to rescue the fainted individuals. After a while, the
classes were suspended. All the students, including the student teachers, went home.

Day 17 (March 9, 2023)

This is the day that I was going to face the reality of teaching as a cooperating student
at Kapalong National High School. I was a little bit nervous because today is the day. I can’t
move on from what happened. At exactly 8:39, I went to my class in section Narra, and my
students were having their performance practice in our activity. As of today, we are expecting
visitors, and they are from the division. They visited the school to rate the safety and
precautions.

In the afternoon, I went to my class in Section Apitong. I do have my short orientation

about the upcoming drill later on. We conducted the earthquake drill with ratings from the
division to know if the school was prepared for it. And at exactly 2:00 pm, the drill team was
excited. Since the students are already oriented, they already know what to do, which is why
there was a good flow to the drill practice. Afterwards, all things went well, and we went back to
the classroom to rest for a while since the weather was so hot. And then after, we continue our
lesson. And at exactly 2:39, the class has ended. I say goodbye to everyone and go back to
the quarter as usual.

Day 18 (March 10, 2023)

Today was another day of the week; it was the last day of the week, and I am a little bit
tired and exhausted for some reason. First, I am not feeling well, but I have to attend my class.
As a future teacher, I have to practice not being tired because this is what I chose. First I went
to our quarters, cleaned the room, and arranged the chairs there. Afterwards, I have to attend
my class in section Narra. I was amazed by the students there because they are so warm-
hearted.
 On the other hand, in the afternoon, I was so busy doing my next lesson and checking
the activities and quizzes of my beloved student. At exactly 1:51, I was able to attend my class
in section Apitong, and then after that, I had my rest for 1 hour and then proceeded to section
Yakal for my ESP subject. Along with the activity, I was amazed and delighted by the student
participation in every subject.
