Day 19 (March 13, 2023)

Today is Monday, another week of my OJT as a student teacher at Kapalong National

High School. I woke up early this morning since I have a lot of things to do. I arrived at exactly
5:57 in the morning and then went directly to the quarter; when I enter the room, it's so messy,
so that's why I cleaned the floor and arranged the chairs.
After awhile, I went to my first period class in section Narra and started to discuss
economic issues; of course, I followed the flow of my lesson plan. Sir Estabillo was at the back
of the room, observing my class. As of today, since the time is over, I have only achieved two
learning objectives.
Afterwards, I went to Grade 7 Rosal to pick up my seventh-grade student, and we went
to the reading room to have a one-hour reading practiced. I was amazed by Marlon Recla, my
seventh-grader, since he can read and be able to comprehend the text a little bit. After the
reading session, I headed back to the quarter to have my lunch.
Time checked its 1:51 and it's English time in section Apitong, as what I did in section
narra. It's still what happened in Section Apitong. After that, I went back to the quarter and
waited for almost 1:30 minutes to have my ESP class in section Yakal. From 4:25 to 5:13. The
best thing is that I really enjoyed the participation of the students. They are eager to learn and
share their opinions and knowledged.

Day 20 (March 14, 2023)

Today is Tuesday, March 14, 2023, another tiring day of the week and another lesson
to be imparted. As of today, I arrived at 6:03. I am a little bit late with my time since I am not
feeling well. First, I went to the quarter to have my breakfast. I waited for almost two hours
before my first class. Here it is, 8:39, and I have arrived at the classroom of section Narra to
have my continuation of class from last week.

Moreover, throughout my discussion, students have asked questions, and one by one,
I have answered their queries. I’d like this kind of student who asked questions because I really
think they learnt from my discussion. After my class in section Narra at exactly 9:15, I arrived at
section Lauan to have my Esp class. And still we are in the Paggalang topic, and you know
what? Every time I enter this room, I feel relieved because of their untiring presence and
participation.

On the other hand, in the afternoon, I arrived at exactly 1:51 and waited for 5 minutes
before the teacher in TLE ended her class. Still, I taught them about the continuation of the
discussion from our last meeting. I am a little bit disappointed because they are not all present
today. Most of them were absent, and according to their classmates, they got sick. Here comes
the bell, and its 2:39. I ended my class and headed back to the quarter.

Day 21 (March 15, 2023)

Checking the date, it's Wednesday. Another day of fun learning experiences as of
today, I am so busy preparing for my demonstration in ESP. Every time I had free time, I had to
work on my visual aids and all the necessary things needed for my demonstration.

Time checked, its English time. I first attended my class in section narra, and as of
today, I do have my Baskin-Robbins activity to test if they listened to my discussion. I have my
15-item quiz and a sort of oral recitation. After my class in Section Narra, I headed back to the
quarter to have my rest.

On the other hand, in the afternoon, I attended my class in section apitong, and I was
amazed by the students because they were almost present. But I can't deny the fact that they
are so noisy sometimes, and you need to be patience and understanding. I can say that this
section really challenged my ability as a teacher. But what I loved about them the most is that
when I encourage them to do something for their grades, they would really do it.

Day 22 (March 16, 2023)

Today is Thursday, and this is the most exciting part of my life because it's my first
demo in ESP. I arrived very early today because of my excitement. I prepared all the necessary
things needed for my demonstration today. But before anything else, I have to attend my
English class in Section Narra. Still, we are on the issue, and after my discussion, I have some
sort of activity to see if they really understand.
Moreover, at exactly 10:15, I am ready to conquer my journey as my first demo. I've
done setting up all the necessary visual aids pasted in the board and prepared my ppt and all.
After a while, ma'am Zamora and sir Estabillo sat at the back to critique my demonstration.
First, I followed my lesson plan. I am now in the middle of motivation, and the students are very
active. Here comes the activity part. All of them answered in chorus because of their eagerness
to participate. After that, I had my discussion about paggalang sa magulang, nakatatanda," and
may awtoridad. Then, after the discussion I had to conduct my application, I gave them 10
minutes to practice and present their performances: group 1 would be 123 freeze, group 2 was
role-playing, and group 3 was a poem. After the application, I conducted my evaluation, and
this time the observers signaled to me that they were going out of the room and congratulated
me.

Overall, I can't explain my emotion this morning; I am so happy and grateful. After my
demonstration, I had to pull out my FR reader to have our reading time. After reading time, I
went back to the quarter and rested. In the afternoon the same with the activity in section narra,
my section apitong did the same way.

Day 23 (March 17, 2023)

Today is Friday, and this was the best day ever since it's the last day of our OJT.
Finally, tomorrow I can rest and collect energy for this coming Sunday during our review time. I
arrived at exactly 5:58 in the morning, and I went to the office of my CT to bring the HDMI. After
that, I went back to the classroom and prepared for my lesson this morning.

After a while, I had to attend my class in section apitong, and as of today, I gave them
time to practice for their upcoming performance. However, at exactly 11:03, I went to Section
Rosal to pull out my reader Marlon Recla for our reading session this morning. And at exactly
1:51, the reading session has ended.

In the afternoon, at exactly 1:51, I went to section apitong and did the same work and
activities as in my first class in section narra, and finally I ended my class at exactly 2:39 in the
afternoon. Additionally, I arrived at exactly 4:25 in section Yakal to have my ESP class, and
their adviser told me to borrow my time for them to clean the room because tomorrow we do
have visitors who are from the region. That's why I had to let their adviser borrow my time.
