I am a freelance theatre production support worker based in Flintshire, with experience of working in
venues within the small to mid-scale theatre sector on both sides of the Atlantic. The majority of my work
is in the field of set construction and prop making but I also have experience of working in other roles
connected with theatre production. These include assisting with lighting and sound, costume making and
as a runner. I also am a trained actor who has won awards at festivals around the UK.

Experience
Worked on the assembly of theatre productions in 50 400 seat producing venues with
flexible seating configurations
Assembled platforms able to support up to 90 people
Experience of set builds, fit-ups, technical rehearsals, production runs and get-outs
Knowledge and experience of UK and US Health and Safety rules and guidelines
including Health & Safety at work, LOLER, power tool safely and Working at height
Strong basic carpentry skills with a good knowledge of scenery construction techniques
and power tool use
Competent with using various software packages including Microsoft Office
Technical experience in the preparation, rigging and operation of Lighting, sound, and
video equipment in a professional theatre environment
Clean driving license

Created 5 unique sets over a 7 week period for productions of Charlie and the Chocolate
Factory, Annie, Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors and The Sound of Music
Constructed props including chairs, trees, plants and cars
Created elaborate prop-pieces such as buildings with workable doors and windows and
an animated plant for Little Shop of Horrors
Utilised wheeled set items such as carts, stairs, and ladders
Worked as stage-hand moving scenery and props between scenes.
Assisted with the making of costumes.
Responsible for maintaining machines, equipment and prop inventory.

Transported cast, crew and production staff between shoot locations
Met animal handlers and drove them to the set
Helped set-up location for shoot and maintained the upkeep of it
