100th Day
Wednesday, January 20 is the 100th day of
school! Students can dress up as if they
were 100 years old. Pinterest has some
great ideas! It is one of my favorite days
of the year!!!

What did we learn this week?

AHS Football Players

Reading: We read books about winter

and snowmen. We learned sight words
help and too. We reviewed all of our
letters. We also learned a new sight word
rap song!

We have 3 Auburn High School football

players coming on Wednesdays to help out
in our class. This is a great way for our
class to have someone older to look up to!

Math: We reviewed subtraction and

played subtraction musical chairs.
Discovery: We made a web about winter.
We also learned about the parts of a
snowman. We made our very own
snowman and recorded what happened
to him through out the day.

Next week:
Reading: Rhyming, sentence segmentation,
blending and segmenting words, ask and
answer questions, visualize, key details
Letters: Review
Sight words: has, play
Math: subtracting review
