    Dates to Remember Classroom News


    6th- teacher work day (No This month is going to jammed packed! We are
    school) starting with a week about fire safety. As part of
    9th- No school your homework, please make an escape plan in
    13th- Career dress up day case of a house fire, help them draw I tout and
    16th- book fair (Whole them turn it in Friday! We will display them!
    week) The next week, we will talk all about Community
    24th- United Nations Day
    Helpers! That Friday we will dress as what we
    (cultural dress up)
    would like to be when we grow up! They love that.
    27th- Costume parade and
    NO PRINCESS'/ SUPER HEROS. This is not
    Halloween Party
    Halloween. Only real jobs! Don't worry though,
    Taking Cinnamon Home- because Halloween is right around the corner.
    Eva-6 The 3rd week is the book fair, and also we are
    Julianna-13 switching gears to some non fiction! Night
    Alyssa- 20 creatures and insects, one of my favorite themes!
    Jacob M- 27 The Last full week of October is going to be our
    costume parade and fall festivities week! They love
    this theme! Non-threatening costumes (nothing
    Skills to work on: scary, and no accessories, eg. Knives, guns, wands,
    Cutting strait lines etc...) are welcome! We will have a party that
    Letter recognition Friday. Fun stuff!
    Rhyming words If your are interested in sending in treats,
    please keep in mind that we have food
    READ TO YOUR CHILD allergies. Please only send in Glutton free
    DAILY! and nut free products!

    Birthdays:
    Andrew- October 6th Remember: Only store bought items
    Alyssa- October 16th for birthday treats.
    Sight Words Home Work

    Reading: Read for 20 Minutes daily
