: By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to :
i. Describe people and objects using simple words

: 1. Teacher recalls previous lesson about family
members.
2. Teacher divides pupils in to groups of five
ACTIVITIES : members.
1. PRE-LESSON 3. Pupils from each group come forward and receive
balloon of letter cards.
4. Pupils blow the balloons until its burst and collect
the letter cards to form words.
5. Any group that finish on time consider as the
winner.
 6. Pupils spell and pronounce words correctly.

: 7. Teacher introduces cursive writing using words of

family members.
2. LESSON DEVELOPMENT 8. Teacher demonstrates in front class writing cursive
writings.
9. Pupils follow teacher’s examples write cursive
writing on mini white boards.
10. Teacher distributes worksheets of family member
pictures.
11. Pupils write simple words describe family member
words. (father, mother, brother, sister, aunt, uncle,
grandmother, grandfather)
12. Pupils paste their works on walls and do gallery
walk.
13. Pupils from other groups write feedbacks on sticky
notes and paste it.
14. Pupils from each groups read their works and
feedbacks in front class.
3. POST-LESSON : 15. Teacher recalls the spelling of the words showing
slides.
16. Pupils spell the words and write in front white
boards.
17. Pupils recheck and practise their cursive writings
by writing on exercise books.
18. Teacher ends the lesson with moral values.
