Pre Lesson 1. Task 7 using a colour word (Hangman)
1. Teacher plays or sing the alphabet song as in previous lesson.

4. Pupils will be asked on how to spell their name: What’s your name? How do you spell that?
5. Each pupil will get a piece of card and teacher will ask them to write their name on the card to
complete the sentence.
6. When pupils have completed their task teacher will collect the name cards, mix them up and give

1. Teacher uses the picture in the Student’s Book to present the colours and points to each
balloon in turn and say the colour.
Pre Lesson
2. Students repeats.
3. The recording would be played and pupils will point and say.
4. Pupils will be asked to take out their coloured pencils.
5. They are to listen to the recording and put a dot on each hat as they hear it.
6. They will check their answers in pairs as teacher plays the recording again.
7. Students colour the hats.
8. Teacher demonstrate the activity by giving an example sentence, e.g. I’m x. My hat is x (and x).
Lesson Development
9. Students say the other sentences in pairs.
10.Teacher elicits the sentences in turn and write them on the board.
11. Pupils will be given some exercises regarding the topic.
