Senior Service Learning Project Proposal

Project Description and Community Involvement

I am donating handmade winter items to the clothing bank, Hangers. Hangers donates clothing
and hygiene items to local EVSC children in need. The items I am making are hats, scarves,
mittens, and ear cozies/headbands, and I am creating them in several colors, suitable for all
ages and genders. All of these items are one size fits most. With such a cold time of year, these
items are very warm and useful.
Mentor
My mentor is the head of the Hangers organization, Barry Jones.
Timetable
The project will be completed by the end of February.
Statement of Commitment
The senior project committee should accept this proposal because it is immediately benefits
local children in need.
