PERSONAL PROTECTION

Employees will be protected against exposure to safety and health hazards (e.g.,
radiation) which are impracticable to eliminate, through proper use of personal protective
equipment and periodic environment monitoring and bio-surveillance where necessary.

Contractors will be monitored by proponents of contracts to ensure that services
performed are in conformity with SAUDI ARAMCO Loss Prevention policies, principles
and practices and do not imperil personnel or property.

So often the last line of defense between a worker and an accident is his personal
protective equipment - yet people are reluctant to use it! Its importance must be
stressed to supervisors and staff time and time again until they all get it right, all kinds of
protective equipment is available, so use it. Head protection, protection from noise,
protecting the eyes and sight, respiration protection, body protection, protection of hands
and foot protection, equipment is available for all.
Remember, it is you and your family who suffer if you don't protect yourself.
