Direction: The teacher will show pictures of different events.

IV. MAIN ACTIVITY
Direction: The teacher will have an interactive story-telling game called
Party! Party! The teacher will group the students into 5. Each group will
receive 2 numbered envelopes with puzzle pieces. They need to complete
the puzzle that will be used in the story.

Finn and Jake are best friends. They live in the Land of Ooo. They are
busy preparing for New Years Eve. They thought of using ____1____ so there
would be a loud, explosive noise to surprise the residents of Ooo. But they
realized that they are living in a forest and if they use firecrackers, they
might burn and leave their houses on ___2___. So they thought of some
alternatives that they can use aside from the firecrackers. The next morning,

In celebrating special events, one can use firecrackers and also drink
alcohol. But using firecrackers without safety and drinking alcohol

firecrackers and alcohol with safety.
VIII. ASSIGNMENT
In a short bond paper, draw some of the alternatives to firecrackers
and alcohol that you and your family used to celebrate New Year. After
drawing, color your work.
