Jeopardy - using software such as PowerPoint to create a game that could be used in the classroom setting. The only thing that I would change is probably the color scheme or design of the PowerPoint because it seems a little plain with just white background.

What you learned: When I looked over the assignment, I was immediately excited because I was familiar with it. I created a very similar Jeopardy review a few years ago for one of my classes so it was a nice review to make a new Jeopardy game. The only thing that I would change is probably the color scheme or design of the PowerPoint because it seems a little plain with just white background. I had a hard time finding a color scheme that would display the questions and answers neatly and clearly but none of them did that but the white one. Overall, I thought this was an awesome assignment. National Educational Technology Standards for Students (NETS)S Addressed: http://www.iste.org/standards.aspx (Links to an external site.) Standard #1: Creativity and Innovation Students demonstrate creative thinking, construct knowledge, and develop innovative products and processes using technology. Not only was it fun to put together but it is also a very fun game to play. I think that this would be very useful in a classroom where we could go over and review for a possible quiz or test. I decided to create my Jeopardy game with questions on what was taught during the week in both vocabulary and math. I think it is a fun and quick review for the students to play. Also, I think it would give the students motivation to want to review and study to get a good score.
