Career Focus
I am currently a student at Howard Community College. I have been
able to balance school, work and extra curricular activities which has
shown me responsibility, as well as working effectively to get things
done. Working at a bank has allowed me to see the importance of
remaining professional in all situations, as well as taking the material
and the clients seriously. Working in retail has allowed me to gain skills
in customer service as well as ways to assist them. I have also worked
many jobs, for example lifeguarding that have allowed me to work as a
team and work efficiently. Being able to work as a team allows the flow
of things to process more efficiently and to be productive. I have also
been involved in a Christian organization called CRU that is on college
campuses.
Education

Skills
During my time at Howard Community College, I have taken many
Biology Courses, Art Courses, English Courses, and Business courses as
well, which have allowed me to gain insight on a variety of areas. I
have also had the privilege of joining their Christian Organizations, CRU
and being able to lead in that Organization as well. Previous work
experiences have allowed me to gain skills with Customer Service as
well as multi-tasking with dealing with Customers, the phone, and also
using the computer while still getting the job done.
Bank Teller, BBT Annapolis, MD- Present
As a Teller, my responsibilities are to greet every customer, take care of
their needs and directing them to where they need to go. I also do
different transactions with them as well.
Lifeguard, Columbia Association; Columbia, MD 2014-2016
My job responsibilities included watching over the pool and making
sure that it remained safe, dealing with clients and addressing different
issues, maintaining the pool and keeping track of what was going on in
the facility.

Cashier, Surfstyle; Clearwater Beach, Fl - 2015-2015


My responsibilities included doing transactions with clients, directing
them to different parts of the store and making sure that everything
was organized and stocked.

My job responsibilities included small transactions and dealing with
clients, with helping them with their orders and other needs they might
have had.
Skills:
I have acquired many skills through my work experience, through
school and previous jobs I have learned how to use computers and
devices that go with it efficiently. I have also gained skill in customer
service, and learning what Client experience really looks like, as well as
being CPR and First Aid certified through my experience lifeguarding.
Awards: In High School, I was the captain of the swim team, got an
award for the National Language Honors Society, was a part of the
Literary Magazine and Latin Club. Going into college, I received a
academic scholarship and also participate in a christian organization
CRU.
