HOW I FIT IN: KNOWING THE MARKETPLACE

I would like to apply for a position as a Registered Practical Nurse in a long term
care setting. I believe I would excel in this field because I strongly believe in
providing optimal care while maintaining the independence and integrity of the
client. During my two year RPN program in Humber College, I developed my skills in
nursing assessment, medication administration, and nursing practice. Working as a
Registered Practical Nurse in a long-term care setting will continue to develop my
nursing skills as a new graduate and serve as an opportunity to contribute my skills
of leadership, time management, and providing compassionate care.
