Pete the Cat!

During the school year we will read a
number of books featuring Pete the
Cat! The children absolutely love Pete
the Cat. I encourage you to purchase
the book, Pete the Cat: Rocking in My
School Shoes. This is great book to
teach children about school and much
more. In class, we will be reading this
book as well and doing number of
activities related to the book itself.
Enjoy!

On August 9th we will have a show

and tell day. Prior to August 9th we will
decorate brown bags in class to take
home. Once at home your child need
to bring three things to show the class.
Please no living things! We will use the
activity to break the ice and get
students interacting and connecting
with each other. Please be sure to help
your child choose items for their show
and tell bag.
