PROPOSED TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SCHEME

OBJECTIVES
The project shall be implemented with the following objectives:1. To comply the Arahan Teknik ( Jalan ) 2C/85
2. To execute the works with a high level of responsibility to ensure
safety to the road users.
3. To minimize inconvenience and disruption to the regular flow of
traffic.
4. To protect both the work crews and road users from any accident in the
cause of implementing the construction works.
5. To provide adequate information ( in advance ) to road users that
construction works are being carried out in and around the area that
they are traveling and thus to caution them.

PROGRAMME OF TRAFFIC DIVERSION

The movement and sequence of traffic diversion is based on the progress of
work and all the activities are to be closely monitored. All lane closure and
diversion will start at least 1 hour before the actual construction works
commence. The lane closure and diversion shall be checked by S.O.

WORKING HOURS
The working hours are planned accordingly and to be agreed by the client
authorities and others.
GENERAL
Monday to Saturday ( normal day works)
Setting-up Traffic Equipments & Materials
8.00 am to 9.00 am
Progress Pavement Work
9.00 am to 6.30 pm

Work Stop & Site Clearance

6.30 pm to 7.30 pm
