Observe more lessons

Preparedness: How does the teacher make sure the students are prepared for the day?

She asks them how theyre feeling and starts them off by getting their minds
active, giving them estimation activities, then a song to get them excited and ready
for the day.

Pace and flow: How does s/he make sure all students are involved and attentive?

She keeps a balance with learning and playing, when she sees that students are
starting to get easily distracted and cant focus on her, thats when she plays them
a song and lets them sing and dance around as they please, then when they are
focused again she plays them educational videos such as Hello from around the
world.

Transitions: How does s/he get student attention? Keep their attention and move to the
next task?

By asking them questions, or playing them a song that is related to their next task.

Behavior: How does s/he deal with misbehavior?

She asks them if they think the choices theyre making are good, if they go
overboard she makes them sit alone on the chair by the table while other students
are sat by the mat.

Encouragement: How does s/he interact with students/as a group/individually e.g.


praise, self-confidence, humor, support.

She is very encouraging and supportive of her students, she interacts with them
using humor when theyre a group and praises them a lot by saying things such as:
Shames you are so smart, kiss your brain. Or when the whole class answers she
says Youre all so amazing kiss your brains you also deserve a pat on the back!.
I honestly look up to her, she acts towards them like a mother would and she is
just wonderful and incredible.
