Expedite/Hostess/Busser, 41 South/Shoga

As Vice President of Membership I am in charge of recruiting all

potential new members, dismissing members, communicating with
alumni groups to ensure graduated members transfer over well,
and much more.

As an expedite I was in charge of all the tickets that came into the
kitchen. I told the kitchen when to fire food, made sure plates
looked presentable before leaving the kitchen, and also preformed
many other various tasks such as making the house salads and
pouring the soup de jour. With this job I learned how to
communicate with the kitchen and serving staff very well to help
get customers what they wanted.
As a hostess I was in charge of the reservation book and mapped
out all of the tables before each night. I would greet customers,
take them to their tables, and help them with whatever needs they
might have. I also answered phone calls and emails for the
restaurant.

As a busser my job was to refill waters, help customers with

their needs, take empty plates off tables, and assist servers,
hostesses, and expedites with whatever needs they might have.

During the year as an event planner for my sorority I planned

between the universities Greek Life Advisor and my sorority.
