1. (4 points) Why is it important to consider the parent/child relationships in between features?
The importance lies in dimensioning. When we start changing things and want
certain aspects to remain the same, instead of changing all of the dimensions, we use
parent child relationships to only change one, for all of them. It is extremely helpful
when using multiple identical objects. Such as circles, radius, etc.
2. (6 points) Model the part shown below in NX 9. Then create multi-view drawings and add
dimensions. Dimensions are in inches.
