Core Elemnts of Digital Citizenship and the five Fluencies.

CORE ELEMENTS OF DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP.


There are nine elements of Digital ccitizenship. They are to
be discussed in detail below:

1. Digital Access: the full electronic participation in society;


2. Digital Literacy: the ability to find, evaluate, utilise, share

and create contents using information technologies and the


internet;

3. Digital Law: the electronic responsibility for action,deeds


which is either ethical or unethical;

4. Digital Security: taking the nnecessary precautions to


guarantee electronic digital safety;
5. Digital Rights and Responsibilities: the requirements and
freedom extended to everyone in a digital world;
6Digital Health and Wellness: physically and ppsychologically
wellbeing in a digital technological world;

7. Digital Communication: the electronic exchange of


information;
8. Digital Etiquette: the use of good manner in online
communication such as e-mails, forums, blogs and social
networking sites;
9.Digital Commerce: the type of e-commerce that is used by
an organisation that diverse and sell products online.

FIVE FLUENCIES OF DIGITAL


CITIZENSHIP.

There are five fluencies of digital citizenship and they are to


be discussed below:

1. Solution fluency:
-According to excuisite (2015) aceessed on 10
May 2016 Solution fluency I the ability think
creatively to solve problems in real time by
clearly defining the problem, designing aan
appropriate solution, delivering the solution
and then evaluating the process and the
outcome

2. Creativity fluency:
-Is a process of art where main ppurpose lies in story telling
through design, art, value to the function of product though its
form. It inspire, imagine, interpolate and identify the
information of products (exquisite.2015).

3.Ccollaboration fluency:
-The team working that reached the unconscious ability to
work cooperatively with real partners in an online environment
to solve problems in also the creation of original products
( exquisite.2015 ).

4. Media fluency:
-This fluency has two components that are:
(i). The ability to look analytically at any communication to
interpret the real message and evaluate officacy oof the
chosen medium
(ii).The ability to create the original communication in
interpreting the message and the audible of effective medium.

5. Information fluency:
-The interpretation of all the forms and formats in order to
extract the eessentials. It is the ability to ask, acquire, analyse,
and apply the essential methods.
