According to a report by G. John Richards, Prosecuting Attorney of Lincoln County, the

following case was heard in the Circuit Court of Lincoln County before the Honorable Amy
Kinker on May 24, 2010.

STATE OF MISSOURI VS. MICHAEL PENROD

Michael Penrod, 21, of Middletown, entered a plea of guilty on April 12, 2010 to the Class C
Felony of sexual assault and was sentenced on May 24, 2010. The defendant received a
suspended execution of sentence of seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections and
was placed on five years probation with the Missouri Board of Probation and Parole. The
defendant is also court ordered to register as a sex offender. The Court followed the State’s
recommendation. This sentence arose out of the events of September 01, 2007, in the County of
Lincoln, State of Missouri, the defendant had sexual intercourse with the victim, knowing that he
did so without the consent of the victim.
