According to a report by G. John Richards, Prosecuting Attorney of Lincoln County, the


following case was heard in the Circuit Court of Lincoln County before the Honorable Ben
Burkemper on July 07, 2010.

STATE OF MISSOURI VS. JOHN WILLIAMS, JR.

John Williams, Jr., 29, of Troy, entered a plea of guilty to the Class B Felony of possession of a
controlled substance with intent to distribute. The defendant received a suspended execution of
sentence of seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections and was placed on five years
probation with the Missouri Board of Probation and Parole. The Court followed the State’s
recommendation. This sentence arose out of the events of June 02, 2009, in the County of
Lincoln, State of Missouri, the defendant, with the intent to distribute, possessed more than 5
grams of marijuana, a controlled substance, knowing of its presence and nature.
