Reports To: • Commercial Manager Main purpose of position: To convert a project strategy into a well defined and workable project programme covering all project interfaces and responsible for Engineering, Procurement and Construction.
Key result areas / • From the project strategy define the key events, interfaces and Responsibilities: deliverables.
• Produce Level 2 project programmes.
• Produce Level 2 engineering key events plan showing primary
task ownership.
• Produce and control through weekly meetings a complete
schedule of all engineering requisitions showing programme forecast and actual dates for the production of requisitions and purchase orders. This status report to show indicative lead times and programme impact.
• Assist engineering in the production of Level 3 bar charts type
plans showing secondary task and input requirements.
• Integrate supplier production programmes into the overall project
programme.
• Integrate site subcontract construction and commissioning
programmes into the overall site plan.
• Assist the project Site Manager in the detailed interface planning
of the 3 week look-ahead programme.
• Prepare progress reports for submission to the Client.
• Review site material shortages to produce site deficiency reports.
Liaise with Material Controller in scheduling replacement materials.
• Participate in development of planning techniques and
standardisation of planning software suitable for all project applications. Qualifications: Civil, mechanical or electrical qualification preferred
