Skill : Grammar Present Perfect

Expected Outcomes: Students learn about the Present Perfect function and structure, and show it
through exercises.

Introduction:
15 min Students are given the superlatives questionnaire where
they reinforce the previous content.

Core of the class

Pre-stage: 20 min Students are introduced to the lesson “Pop and Rock” with
the emphasis on the difference between Present Perfect and
Past Simple.

While-stage: 25 min Students do excercises on Present Perfect chosing either P.

Perfect or Past Simple in sentences related to famous
artists.

-Students listen to a Shakira’s interview and the answer

some questions

Post-stage: 20 min Students are taught the structure of the Present Perfect.
Also they learn the use of “Since” and “For”.

Closing: 10 min Students see some examples with “Since” and “For” to
difference between period and a point in the time.
