Subject: Prayer for permission to reappear in ward final examination

Dear Sir,
I am a regular student of your college and I have attended both of the
previous medicine wards and also have given the previous ward final
examinations and also have passed in those examinations. But as my mother was
seriously ill in the last month and I had to take her to the hospital for treatment, I
was not able to attend some of the classes and also the ward final examination. So,
I would like to request you to let me allow to sit in a ward final examination. I
ensure you that I will give my full effort in the examination.
With due and humble request, I hope you will be kind enough to
understand my reason for not attending the exam and will grant my above request
and let me sit in a ward final examination.
