1. Library Tour TIME FRAME: 50 minutes MATERIALS: notebook and pen Tasks: 1. All students will go to the library. 2. The teacher will discuss on how to read the phonetic symbols in dictionary through words. 3. Jot down the salient points.

1. Reading the Text TIME FRAME: 20 minutes MATERIALS: book and pen

Tasks: 1. Read the story on Lesson I Learned in the War by Magel M. Magallona. 2. Then, answer the Activity 8, page 28-29.

2. Story Outline TIME FRAME: 30 minutes MATERIALS: manila paper and marker Tasks: 1. After answering the Activity 8, make a story outline. Follow the format given by your teacher. 2. Share your work to the class.
