    The Assistant Manager visited the 220KV G/S Wapda town power station on August 30, 2011 following instructions from the Deputy Manager. During the visit, the Assistant Manager observed that the analog ammeters installed in the 132KV control panels were malfunctioning and deteriorated, making it difficult to accurately measure the load on the 132KV feeders. In a report, the Assistant Manager recommended purchasing 12 new digital ammeters made by Frer of Italy measuring 96x96mm to replace the analog ammeters for all of the 132KV feeders and transformers.

    The Deputy Manager (P&I) NTDC (GSO) Circle NKLP, Lahore

    Subject: Visit Report for the Allocation / Purchase of Digital Ammeters for 132KV Control Panels. It is submitted that with reference of letter # 21 dated: 29-08-11. I have visited 220KV G/S Wapda town dated: 30-08-2011 on the instruction from Deputy Manager (P&I) against the letter No. 21 Dated: 29-08-2011. According to my visit, I observed that the Ammeters installed in 132KV Control panels were out of order and deteriorate as well. There is a difficulty in measuring the actual load on 132KV Feeders. In the light of my observation, I demand for the purchase of new digital ammeters of Frer (ITLAY) with 96X96 Dimension on all feeders of 132KV. The requirements of Digital Ammeters are 12 which covers all the feeders as well as transformer of 132KV.
