• Different types of force
Force is a push or pull on an object e.g.
when a man pulls the cart then he forces
on the cart.
• Force can make a stationery object move.
• Force can increase or decrease the speed
of a moving object
• Force changes the direction of motion of
a body
• Force can change the shape of a body
• When a player kicks
a stationary ball , he
makes it move
whenever kicks the
ball.
• If someone pushes the
cyclist from back the
speed of cyclist would
increase . Hence applied
force can increase the
speed.
• When a volleyball
player lifts the ball ,
he applies force by
lifting the ball to
change the direction
of motion .
• Force can change the
body of any object.In
a bakery when dough
is prepared , the
body of flour is
changed to dough.
• Muscular Force:- It is the force excerted by
muscles.
• Force of Gravity:- The force of attraction by
earth.
• Frictional Force:- It is the force , which opposes
the motion of surface over another surface in
contact with it.
• Magnetic Force:- The force exerted by a
magnet.
• Electrostatic Force: The force produced as a
result of charges
