Electronic Fabrication Techniques Course Overview

Type and Purpose

This is a practical electrical / electronics course which should provide students:

Practical knowledge in soldering and de-soldering techniques Proper circuit wiring techniques Care and use of basic hand tools and test equipment

Course Objectives

To introduce the student to standard safety procedures practiced in industry.

WHMIS Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System Electrical Safety Workshop Safety Proper conduct in a working environment

Course Objectives

To enable the student to develop skills in using hand tools for repair electronic equipment.

To introduce the student to soldering and wiring techniques
