For 25 years, we at Island Apparel have made quality our main priority. We have implemented a system designed to catch quality problems at every stage of the manufacturing process. We have a large network of employees separate from production whose sole responsibility is to perform quality checks. Accountability is a major part of our system. Operators and inspectors are responsible for their own work. All finished garments can be traced back to a specific operator at any time in the production process and to the final inspectors. This booklet aims at unifying all of the Island Apparel Quality Control Guidelines, procedures, reports, and certain specifications unique to our customers. It describes in detail the individual components of the system and how they all work together to create a successful quality control unit. Here at Island Apparel, we take pride in our work and realize that quality never goes out of style.
