Adverbs of Manner
Tell you how an action is done. Neatly, quickly, slowly, beautifully, peacefully

Eg: Jessica wrote down the names of the members neatly on the board.

Adverbs of Time
Tell you when an action is done. Late, early, yesterday, last night, instantly, recently, temporarily Eg: You have to leave immediately.

Adverbs of Frequency
Tell you how often an action is done. Always, sometimes, usually, frequently, occasionally, hardly, every day. Eg: My mother often buys food from that restaurant.

Adverbs of Place
Tell you where an action is done. Here, there, everywhere, somewhere, nowhere, near, far. Eg: His house is very near.

Adverbs of Degree
Tell you how complete an action is or to what extent it is done. Very, nearly, completely, thoroughly, almost Eg: I am almost done. My brother nearly got hit by a car.

Prepositions
Show time, place and direction. Usually used before nouns or pronouns. Cannot be used at the end of a sentence.
