I always found the history of China to be very interesting. That was when I realized that China invented many things, including weapons and strategies. I thought of different ways I could include the history of China, its growth, its inventions, and its culture into my project. Therefore, I decided to do my research on Chinese warfare. I started at the beginning of the Chinese dynasties. Starting from the Shang Dynasty and onto the Qin, Han, Jin, and so on, I went in chronological order. I thought it would be more convenient doing so. I looked on the internet for most of my research; sadly, I could not go to the library much during this period. I conducted many of my research online, searching for pictures and looking for documents and information. I learned a lot about the revolution of warfare and the reformation of their government over the many years. After I conducted my research, with much thought, I decided a website would be the best way to present my topic. I have decent coding skills and I liked working on the computer. I had pictures I could put as a slideshow and I thought it would be fun. A few upperclassmen that have done this project previously gave me advice and guidance on doing my website as well, therefore, I decided on the website. China has a long and great history. Their inventions have revolved through the times. Their government has been through many reformations. Many of the Chinese inventions have also caused a great reaction throughout the world and its nation. That is how Chinese warfare relates to this years theme.
