What we are learning In Reading- The story this week is Little Bears Friend. We will revisit alphabetical order again. The phonics skill we are working on is y that makes the long I sound. In Writing-We are working on writing for different reasons. We are beginning to find ways to elaborate on a topic. In Math-We have begun Unit 6. It is Addition and Subtraction Strategies to 20. This week we will work on subtraction strategies. In Science-In conjunction with the field trip, we will learn about manatees.

Our Calendar *Thurs., March 22-Field Trip to Homosassa Springs State Park. The kids are very excited. If you are driving, please check with Ms. Pam in the office to make sure that a copy of your drivers license and your insurance card is on file. *Fri., March 30-Fri., April 6-Spring Break!
