Can be made more difficult by identifying beginning and end sounds. - Grab: teacher places several phonics cards face down on the floor and shouts out the sound. The first student to find the card is the winner Singing the alphabet song and the phonics song students should understand and associate the sounds with the letters and their names. First sounds booklet students need to start associating letters with the beginnings of words that are spoken to them aloud. They must listen to the word and choose the appropriate letter.

Notes / parent follow up: Keep your children interested in English outside of school with various methods so they dont get bored. Let them watch cartoons in English, this helps to develop their listening skills. Help them to speak basic sentences to introduce themselves in English.
