Introduction Students comment on 5 minutes celebrations common to Chile and the rest of the world that they know. Core of the class Pre-stage Students identify new words to talk about celebrations.

Make students recognize specific vocabulary. Activity checked in the board.

5 minutes

Make students use specific vocabulary. Make students practice pronunciation.

While-stage Students work on page 39 of their 20 minutes workbook. Students work on activities 6 and 7 in page 40 of their workbook. Students read in groups the text in page 41 of their workbooks. Post-stage Students check their answers in groups. Students comment on the use of WH question words.

Students practice spelling. Students practice pronunciation. Students practice writing.

10 minutes

Students practice grammar. Students practice pronunciation. Make students improve their skills.

Closing Students check the contents of the 5 minutes class, ask questions and answer direct questions about the usage of WH question words.

Ensure comprehension of new contents.
