CitySoft is a web-based application service provider providing custom relationship
management (CRM) tools to the non-profit and association marketplace. In a cash
constrained environment, key executive completing the transformation of the company from
a cash-depleting professional services firm to a self-funded, profitable product company.
Led company restructuring, established revenue realization and cash management systems,
led product redesign, migrated profitable business to new product, shed unprofitable
business, instituted annuity-base pricing, established customer support operation.
Restructured existing customer deals to finance product R&D. Transformed product
platform to eliminate manual-intensive, expensive engineering customizations. Made
effective use of third-party and off-shore outsourcing for business services and engineering.

and product evangelist. Presented at several forums, including IDC’s Demo 2002 conference
on emerging technologies. Led and advised definition and design of custom web-based
applications built using StructuredSoft technology, including solutions for Inc Magazine and

Cambridge Incubator (now CIC), Cambridge MA January 2000 – April 2001


Managing Director
Cambridge Incubator was an early-stage venture creation company backed by Draper Fisher
Jurvetson. Created and implemented initial operational plan for a technology-focused
incubator and investment firm. Led technology due diligence on portfolio companies.
Advised CEOs of CI companies on all aspects of technology, product management and
product-related hiring. Made key hires in CI’s leadership team, established a service
delivery model that yielded a self-funding operation. Designed and implemented the client
management process and instituted programs to ensure service quality. Led turnaround of
high-profile product launch effort. Turned around CI’s technology services capability.
Negotiated several vendor deals. Responsible for building the initial web-based product
capabilities for five companies.
